Multi-Housing and HOA Communities

Higher density housing communities pose unique security challenges.  If you’re looking to just “check the box” on security, Windom is probably not your solution.  We studied the multi-housing security market in an effort to determine how communities were managing their tenants’ safety and we saw some gaps.  Security companies at times were deploying untrained guards, simply to allow the client to check that box.  We have all seen the stereotypical “mall cop” asleep at the desk or in a parked vehicle.  That’s no security at all.  In fact, that’s a liability for your company and a potential threat to your tenants.  Windom believes that even lower risk sites still require strategies that produce results.  We realize that a paying client has entrusted our company to handle premises security.  The client could have easily taken the business elsewhere.  We appreciate all our clients and tailor our services to their needs, specifically.

If you are a commercial property manager and want specialist or guard services exclusively, we still will offer you a complimentary security assessment at contract execution.

With regard to vehicle patrol security on premises, Windom has a unique but effective approach.  Our patrol units follow predetermined routes using software and analytics based on data we have from your property and surrounding neighborhoods.  We use technology to predict potential hot spots based on the time and day of the week.  These patrol routes will appear to be random to your tenants and the surrounding neighbors but not to Windom.  Effective security patrolling requires a degree of randomness and unpredictability, but also methodic calculation.  This enables us to spread out our coverage, patrolling more areas, while at the same time dedicating more resources to potential problem areas.

If you require static security for your community, Windom also has you covered.  Our team will develop strategies that are specific to your property using the right type of security to meet today’s challenges.
